As a rule of thumb, blushes should go as one of the last steps of your makeup routine. It goes like this: foundation + concealer + bronzer (if you use any) + and finally blushes. You don’t want to apply powder blush before your concealer, for example, it will get cakey. It can be a bit different for cream blushes or liquid blushes where you can adjust the steps along with your highlighter or bronzer.
