Heimish All Clean Balm

Heimish All Clean Balm Review: An absolute K-beauty Must have

The Heimish All Clean Balm is a product that I have been using for the past year. In fact, I have just bought a new having my third one laying in the bathroom shelf rack as we speak. If you have been following us for a while, you probably know that we have reviewed their products before. The Bulgarian Rosewater Hydrogel eye patches received a solid 4/5 star review from us.

Not all cleansing balms are made equal, people with sensitive skin (hello, me) have learnt it the hardest. Sometimes they don’t melt the makeup away, sometimes they sting your eyes, and simply don’t work. As you can tell from the title that gives away the final verdict for this review, the Heimish All Clean Balm is an exceptional one. This might have been the best one in terms of consistency and the fact that it did NOT burn my eyes. Finally, a cleansing balm made for sensitive eyes!

So, without further do, let’s get to this full Heimish All Clean Balm review.

What is the Heimish All Clean Balm claiming to be?

Heimish All Clean Balm is a do-it-all cleansing balm dissolves into oil when in contact with skin. It removes makeup (even waterproof makeup) , dirt and bacteria accumulated throughout the day with no problem. It is super gentle on the skin, formulated with non-irritating ingredients. It is a vegan, cruelty-free, hypoallergenic and contains only natural fragrance.

The product claims that it is a one stop shop for double cleansing lovers.

It is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. The main ingredients in this cleansing balm are Citrus herb oil, Coconut extract, Shea butter and White flower complex. Citrus herb oil is used to nourish the skin and give it a glow. Coconut oil and shea butter help the balm glide on your skin and turn into silky texture without stripping it off.

The product comes in two sizes – 50 ml and 120 ml.

Application

I’d say Heimish really did a good job with the application. It comes with a little spatula you can use to scoop out the balm based on amount you want to use.

The product itself has a solid balm consistency, after you put it on your face it melts down and turn into oil basically. It does not feel heavy at all, and after rinsing face with lukewarm water, the skin feels refreshed and clean.

Overall, very pleased with the application and consistency. 10 out of 10 on that!

Packaging & Scent

The packaging is very practical, I like the directions and the information that appears right when you open the carton. It comes with a spatula, as I mentioned a minute ago. Sometimes with some products you don’t feel the need to use a spatula (at times for hygienic reasons). However, I feel like with this cleansing balm you definitely need it because you wouldn’t be able to get it out with your fingers. It has a soft, yet solid texture, so you need some extra help with it.

Scent

The Heimish All Clean Balm is surprisingly not very fragrant, considering all the essential oils and flower extracts it has in the formulation. It is nowhere near to being as fragrant as Huxley Secret of Sahara Cleansing Oil, for example which has a blend of different scents.

It’s got a very mild, floral scent that isn’t very apparent right away. It is not overpowering and it doesn’t stay on when you melt it away on the face. Sometimes it felt like there was no scent at all, to be honest. Or maybe it is because I can get nose blindness from time to time LOL.

Overall performance: Does Heimish All Clean Balm work?

Yes, I am pleased to announce that the Heimish All Clean Balm is a holy grail product that every sensitive needs. When you have sensitive skin, even gentle cleansers can make your skin feel dry. So, this balm does its job really well by cleansing it fully and giving it a moisturized finish.

Removes makeup effectively: Although I don’t wear heavy makeup daily, because it dries down throughout the day, you need a cleanser with a thicker consistency just like this balm to melt it all away.

No trouble removing eye makeup: The good news for me was that it removes eye makeup really well without any burning or itching! If you have a problem with oil cleansers that sting the eyes just like me, this one is for you. It even removed my waterproof mascara with no problem.

Gentle and Lightweight: Ah, the heavenly combo. This combo is what all cleansers need to have. The balms melts away into silky oil and disappears into the skin in no time. No greasy or oily feel at all.

This balm does contain essential oils, so just FYI. The star ingredients of the Heimish All Clean balm are Citrus herb oil, Coconut extract, Shea butter, White flower complex, and Tea Tree Leaf Oil.

See the full list:

Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, PEG-20 Glyceryl Triisostearate, Polyethylene, PEG-8 Isostearate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Tocopheryl Acetate, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil, Amyris Balsamifera Bark Oil, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Peel Oil, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Boswellia Carterii Oil, Juniperus Mexicana Oil, Water, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Extract, Butylene Glycol, Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Fruit Extract, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Nelumbium Speciosum Flower Extract, Freesia Refracta Extract, Rose Extract, Leontopodium Alpinum Extract, Jasminum Officinale (Jasmine) Extract, Narcissus Pseudo-Narcissus (Daffodil) Flower Extract, Lilium Tigrinum Extract, Iris Versicolor Extract, Ethylhexylglyecerin

As you can see, Shea butter and oils like lavender, tea tree and coconut oil come at the top of the list.

Shea butter – nourishing to the skin, and acts as an emollient (softens the skin)

Ethylhexyl Palmitate – also an emollient to add richness to the formula.

Tea Tree Leaf Oil Tea tree oil is known for its anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities. It is predominantly used in acne treatment, and has proven to be highly effective.

Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Extract – comes from the coconut fruit and is packed with minerals and amino acids.

How to use the Heimish All Clean Balm?

Scoop the amount of product you need and start gently massaging it into the face. The instructions say apply it on dry face, however, I damped my face before putting it on. I just like the texture better that way. So, you do whatever you are comfortable with.

Once you massage it on your face, you will see all the gunk and makeup melt away. Rinse your skin with lukewarm water and pat dry. Welcome to the new era of a hydrated, clean face!

I am a double cleanse person, no matter what product I use. But I have to admit that there were some lazy nights where I skipped the water-based cleanser after this. I just didn’t feel like I need to use it, but for better results, follow up with your go-to water-based cleanser.

Final verdict on the Heimish All Clean Balm

The Heimish All Clean Balm does the cleaning job very well without irritating or stripping off the skin. If you are struggling with finding the best cleansing balm for sensitive skin, you have to give this one a try.
